This first table shows you which countries are participating in which events. The more events a country is participating in, the more opportunities to score points. The table shows with how many participants a country is taking part in an event. Note that participation might be subject to last minute changes.

The table shows the top-10 per event for all olympics combined, the previous 2018 Olympics only and the ’21-’22 World Cup ranking. If there are blank cells this either means the event didn’t take place, or there aren’t any other countries in the top-10.

Some events might be more familiar to you than others. Or you have just forgotten how the event unfolded at the previous olympics. In both cases, click on the event below and watch some of the highlights of the 2018 olympics.
Scoring system
In this game you pick your golden, silver and bronze winners per competition. Your picks relate to the amount of points you can score. This is based on the following scores table:

If one of your picked nations (either gold, silver or bronze) ends up in a top-10 position, you score points according to this table. For your golden pick, your points get multiplied by three. For your silver pick, your points get doubled. For your bronze pick, you just get the single amount of points. If one of your picked countries ends up multiple times in the top-10, your get points for all your positions.
Let’s take an example to see how this works. In the I Believe I Can Fly competition you have chosen Japan for gold, Canada for silver and China for bronze. In the snowboarding men’s big air event, this is the (fictional) result:

In this situation you will get the following points:
- You don’t get any points for Japan
- For Canada finishing third you get 12 x 2 = 24 points
- For Canada finishing eighth you get 2 x 3 = 6 points
- For China finishing fourth you get 9 points.
- Your total amount of points is 24 + 6 + 9 = 39 points
For the final score, all the scores of the event are added together. The person with the highest score in total will win the I Believe I Can Fly competition.
